About Glulam

Glulam is the generic name for glued laminated timber and is fast becoming the popular alternative to steel.

Primarily made from Grade C24 European Whitewood, Glulam has excellent strength to weight ratio and can be worked on like other timbers.

Glulam is manufactured from timber harvested from sustainable sources. It has a high and predictable resistance to fire and unlike steel or concrete it will not twist and fail in a fire or corrode, even in aggressive and polluted environments.
